Andrew Piʻikoi Kawānanakoa, Prince of the House of Kawānanakoa was born on October 7, 1964. He was the youngest son of Prince Edward Abnel Keliʻiahonui Kawānanakoa by his wife Princess Carolyn Willison Branch Kawānanakoa.
His brother is Quentin Kuhio Kawānanakoa, the current pretender. Their two elder half-brothers, Edward and David are not on the line of succession due to Edward's disability and David's renounciation of the throne. He is the 3rd in the Kawānanakoa line of the Hawaiian throne after his nephews Kincaid Kawānanakoa and Riley Kawānanakoa. In the Line of Liliuokalani Kawānanakoa, headed by his cousin Princess Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawānanakoa, he is 5th in line after his nephews.
He is named after his ancestors Jonah Piikoi and David Piikoi, chiefs of Kauai and grandfather and father of David Kawānanakoa.[1]
He married Tanya Adlawan at Honolulu, Oahu on November 25, 1989. Through this marriage he and Princess Tanya Adlawan Kawānanakoa had two sons and three daughters . His sons are Prince Andrew Kaeokulani Kawānanakoa and Prince Jonah Kealiiokalani Kawānanakoa.[2] His daughters are Kanoelani Adlawan, Kawehe Adlawan, and Kahealani Adlawan. He and his family live in the Kona District on the Island of Hawaii.
